DESCRIPTION: Ever see a natural gas flame behind a waterfall? Have you ever had the opportunity to use snowshoes to get through deep snow? BACKGROUND INFO: The Late Devonian Period and its muddy and organic-rich shallow oceans deposited the shale rock layers that are possibly responsible for the gas deposits that power the flame. We are not sure of when the deposits were discovered by man, and when specifically Eternal Flame was first lit. Most people believe that it was somewhere in the 1920's when the area started to become developed.

DESCRIPTION: Amherst State Park is an irregular shaped 77+ acre conservation park in the Town of Amherst. The Park is a good place to view wildlife, including deer and beaver. There are several trails in the park.

DESCRIPTION: Who doesn't love Turkey dinner? It’s all about food, friends, and sharing the wonderful things in our lives. The only way we could think to improve it, is to make the dinner in a campfire. Come join us for cooking starting at 2:00pm.
We will be demonstrating how to cook: Turkey Breast w rosemary, thyme and sage; Boxed Stuffing; Cranberry Compote; Green Beans with Bacon; Sweet Potato basted w Olive Oil Pepper & Salt; Pie Iron Cinnamon Apple Turnover & maybe Ice Cream.

WHERE: ELLICOTTVILLE TUBING - Ellicottville NY
DESCRIPTION: Please come join us for some cocoa and tubing. Located outside of the beautiful skiing centric town of Ellicottville NY. Holiday Valley’s tubing park is the fifth largest of its kind in the country. It has 22 lanes that are 900 feet long and drop 100 feet vertically, plus two handle tows to pull you back up the hill.
